  • Professional Profile: CVs, employment history, academic qualifications, and professional memberships.
  • Assessment Data: Interview feedback, technical test results, and personality/psychometric profiling.
  • Vetting Data: Reference checks and, where legally permissible for specific roles, criminal and credit records.
4. WHY DO WE PROCESS YOUR DATA?
We process your data under the legal bases of Legitimate Interest (finding you suitable employment), Contractual Necessity (processing your application), and Legal Obligation (complying with labor and tax laws). This includes:
  • Matching your profile with global job opportunities.
  • Facilitating your enrollment in Elevation Academy courses.
  • Verifying your credentials and right-to-work status.
  • Providing career resources and updates via iCoreCareerHub.
5. GLOBAL DATA TRANSFERS & SECURITY
As a cross-border organization, your data may be stored and processed on our central iCore System servers located in South Africa or via secure cloud providers globally.
  • Standards: We apply a "highest common denominator" approach. This means we treat all data with the protections required by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the South African Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
  • Security: We utilize industry-standard encryption, firewalls, and access controls to prevent unauthorized access or data leaks.
6. DATA RETENTION
  • Talent Pool: We typically retain candidate data for 24 months following your last interaction with us. This allows us to consider you for future opportunities as they arise.
  • Placements: If you are successfully placed, your data will be retained in accordance with the statutory requirements of the country of employment.
  • Opt-Out: You may request that we delete your record at any time.
