Quick Recording Reminders
Before you hit record on Reslink ( sign up - with your own account as “Job Seeker”) then run through this quick checklist to ensure your environment and setup are camera-ready:
The Director Phase: Use a tripod or stable surface—never hold your phone. Position the camera exactly at eye level and frame yourself from the mid-chest up.
The Tech Phase: Make sure your main light source (like a window) is directly in front of your face. Choose a quiet room with soft furnishings to absorb echoes, and put your devices on "Do Not Disturb."
The Talent Phase: Look directly at the camera lens, not at your screen. Speak about 20% louder and with more energy than usual. Finally, remember the 3-Second Rule: smile for three seconds before you start speaking, and hold your smile for three seconds after you finish before reaching to stop the recording.
